Plumber repairing a toilet in a tiled bathroom

Toilet Repair for Phoenix homes

Ahwatukee homes from the 1980s and 1990s often have original toilets with worn flappers, corroded supply valves and wax rings that have dried out. A running toilet can quietly add hundreds of gallons a week to your bill.

We repair what is worth repairing and give you a straight answer when replacement is the better value, such as a cracked tank or a toilet that rocks even after the bolts are tightened.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my toilet keep running?

Usually a worn flapper, a fill valve that does not shut off, or a chain that is too short. These are quick, inexpensive repairs.

Water is leaking around the base of my toilet. Is that serious?

Yes. It usually means the wax ring has failed, and water can soak the subfloor. Stop using that toilet and have the seal replaced.

Should I repair or replace an old toilet?

If the porcelain is cracked, it rocks even after the bolts are tightened, or it clogs constantly, replacement is usually the better value.

Can you clear a toilet clog I cannot plunge?

Yes. We use a closet auger and, if needed, clear the drain line beyond the toilet.

Do you install new toilets?

Yes. We install customer-supplied toilets or can supply one, including a new wax ring, supply line and shut-off valve if needed.
