Leak Repair for Mesa homes
Many Mesa homes built before 1985 still have galvanized steel supply lines. They corrode from the inside, so leaks tend to show up as more than one pinhole in the same run. When we see that, we will tell you honestly whether a spot repair makes sense or whether that section should be replaced.
Newer Mesa neighborhoods have the opposite problem: PEX and copper lines that are fine, but fittings and supply hoses under sinks and behind washers that fail after ten years or so. Those are fast repairs.

Leak Repair: quick answers
- Signs of a hidden leak
- A rising water bill, the meter moving with everything off, damp drywall, warm floor spots, or a mildew smell.
- What to do right now
- Close the fixture valve or the main shut-off, move valuables, and photograph the damage for insurance.
- Repair or repipe
- One leak is a repair. Repeated pinhole leaks in the same copper or galvanized line usually mean that section should be replaced.
- How long it takes
- Most fixture and supply line leaks are fixed in one visit. Pipe sections inside walls can take longer.
